ألَّا خمرتَه، ولو تعرُض عليه عودًا
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاسْتَسْقَى، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَلَا نَسْقِيكَ نَبِيذًا؟ فَقَالَ: «بَلَى»، قَالَ: فَخَرَجَ الرَّجُلُ يَسْعَى، فَجَاءَ بِقَدَحٍ فِيهِ نَبِيذٌ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَلَّا خَمَّرْتَهُ وَلَوْ تَعْرُضُ عَلَيْهِ عُودًا»، قَالَ: فَشَرِبَ.
اللهم بين لنا في الخمر بيانًا شفاءً
عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ: لَمَّا نَزَلَ تَحْرِيمُ الْخَمْرِ قَالَ عُمَرُ: اللَّهُمَّ بَيِّنْ لَنَا فِي الْخَمْرِ بَيَانًا شِفَاءً، فَنَزَلَتِ الْآيَةُ الَّتِي فِي الْبَقَرَةِ: {يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ قُلْ فِيهِمَا إِثْمٌ كَبِيرٌ} [البقرة: 219] الْآيَةَ، قَالَ: فَدُعِيَ عُمَرُ فَقُرِئَتْ عَلَيْهِ، قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ بَيِّنْ لَنَا فِي الْخَمْرِ بَيَانًا شِفَاءً، فَنَزَلَتِ الْآيَةُ الَّتِي فِي النِّسَاءِ {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَقْرَبُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنْتُمْ سُكَارَى} [النساء: 43]، فَكَانَ مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ نَادى: أَلَا لَا يَقْرَبَنَّ الصَّلَاةَ سَكْرَانُ، فَدُعِيَ عُمَرُ فَقُرِئَتْ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ بَيِّنْ لَنَا فِي الْخَمْرِ بَيَانًا شِفَاءً، فَنَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ {فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُنْتَهُونَ} [المائدة: 91] قَالَ عُمَرُ: انْتَهَيْنَا.
لقد سقيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بقَدَحي هذا الشراب كله
عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: لَقَدْ سَقَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَدَحِي هَذَا الشَّرَابَ كُلَّهُ: الْعَسَلَ وَالنَّبِيذَ وَالْمَاءَ وَاللَّبَنَ.
نهيتكم عن الظروف
عن بُرَيْدَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ الظُّرُوفِ، وَإِنَّ الظُّرُوفَ -أَوْ ظَرْفًا- لَا يُحِلُّ شَيْئًا وَلَا يُحَرِّمُهُ، وَكُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ».
إن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى عن قتل أربع من الدواب
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ أَرْبَعٍ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ: النَّمْلَةُ وَالنَّحْلَةُ وَالْهُدْهُدُ وَالصُّرَدُ.
يا أيها الناس إن الله تعالى يُعرِّض بالخمر
عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ، قَالَ: «يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ، إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى يُعَرِّضُ بِالْخَمْرِ، وَلَعَلَّ اللهَ سَيُنْزِلُ فِيهَا أَمْرًا، فَمَنْ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ مِنْهَا شَيْءٌ فَلْيَبِعْهُ وَلْيَنْتَفِعْ بِهِ»، قَالَ: فَمَا لَبِثْنَا إِلَّا يَسِيرًا حَتَّى قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى حَرَّمَ الْخَمْرَ، فَمَنْ أَدْرَكَتْهُ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ وَعِنْدَهُ مِنْهَا شَيْءٌ فَلَا يَشْرَبْ، وَلَا يَبِعْ»، قَالَ: فَاسْتَقْبَلَ النَّاسُ بِمَا كَانَ عِنْدَهُ مِنْهَا فِي طَرِيقِ الْمَدِينَةِ فَسَفَكُوهَا.
إذا أتيتَ على راعٍ فناده ثلاث مرار فإن أجابك وإلا فاشرب في غير أن تفسد
عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِذَا أَتَيْتَ عَلَى رَاعٍ فَنَادِهِ ثَلَاثَ مِرَارٍ، فَإِنْ أَجَابَكَ وَإِلَّا فَاشْرَبْ فِي غَيْرِ أَنْ تُفْسِدَ، وَإِذَا أَتَيْتَ عَلَى حَائِطِ بُسْتَانٍ فَنَادِ صَاحِبَ الْبُسْتَانِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، فَإِنْ أَجَابَكَ وَإِلَّا فَكُلْ فِي أَلَّا تُفْسِدَ».
لا تطعموا من لحوم الحمر شيئًا
عَن ابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: أَصَابَتْنَا مَجَاعَةٌ لَيَالِيَ خَيْبَرَ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ خَيْبَرَ وَقَعْنَا فِي الحُمُرِ الأَهْلِيَّةِ، فَانْتَحَرْنَاهَا، فَلَمَّا غَلَتِ القُدُورُ نَادَى مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَكْفِئُوا القُدُورَ، فَلاَ تَطْعَمُوا مِنْ لُحُومِ الحُمُرِ شَيْئًا» قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ: فَقُلْنَا: إِنَّمَا نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَنَّهَا لَمْ تُخَمَّسْ قَالَ: وَقَالَ آخَرُونَ: حَرَّمَهَا أَلْبَتَّةَ.
We chased a rabbit at Marr Azh-Zhahrān. The people ran after it but they got tired.
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: We chased a rabbit at Marr Azh-Zhahrān. The people ran after it but they got tired. I ran after it and eventually caught it, and brought it to Abu Talhah. He then slaughtered it and sent its hip and two thighs to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and he accepted them.
O Messenger of Allah, is it forbidden? He said: No. Yet it is not found in the land of my people, and I feel that I have no liking for it. Khālid said: I then chewed and ate it, while the Messenger was looking
Ibn ‘Abbās (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: Khālid ibn al-Walīd and I went to the apartment of Maymūnah along with the Messenger (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him), and there was presented to him a roasted lizard. As the Messenger stretched his hand towards It, some of the women who had been in the house of Maymūnah said: "Inform the Messenger of Allah about what he intends to eat." The Messenger lifted his hand. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, is it forbidden?" He said: "No. Yet it is not found in the land of my people, and I feel that I have no liking for it." Khālid said: "I then chewed and ate it, while the Messenger was looking."
We participated with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) in seven battles wherein we ate locusts.
‘Abdullāh ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: We participated with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) in seven battles wherein we ate locusts.
Raisins used to be soaked for the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) in a water skin, and he would drink it that day, the next day, and the following day. In the evening of the third day, he would drink it and give some to others. If anything was left, he would spill it

رأيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يأكل الرُّطَب بالقِثَّاء
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُ الرُّطَبَ بِالقِثَّاءِ.
رُدِّيه فيه، ثم اعجنيه
عَنْ أُمِّ أَيْمَنَ أَنَّهَا غَرْبَلَتْ دَقِيقًا فَصَنَعَتْهُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَغِيفًا، فَقَالَ: «مَا هَذَا؟» قَالَتْ: طَعَامٌ نَصْنَعُهُ بِأَرْضِنَا، فَأَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ أَصْنَعَ مِنْهُ لَكَ رَغِيفًا. فَقَالَ: «رُدِّيهِ فِيهِ، ثُمَّ اعْجِنِيهِ».
لا فَرَع ولا عَتِيرة
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لاَ فَرَعَ وَلاَ عَتِيرَةَ»، وَالفَرَعُ: أَوَّلُ النِّتَاجِ، كَانُوا يَذْبَحُونَهُ لِطَوَاغِيتِهِمْ، وَالعَتِيرَةُ فِي رَجَبٍ.
يا ثوبان، أصلح لحم هذه
عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ: ذَبَحَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ضَحِيَّتَهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «يَا ثَوْبَانُ، أَصْلِحْ لَحْمَ هَذِهِ»، فَلَمْ أَزَلْ أُطْعِمُهُ مِنْهَا حَتَّى قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ.
لا تنتبذوا الزَّهو والرُّطَب جميعًا
عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَنْتَبِذُوا الزَّهْوَ وَالرُّطَبَ جَمِيعًا، وَلَا تَنْتَبِذُوا الزَّبِيبَ وَالتَّمْرَ جَمِيعًا، وَانْتَبِذُوا كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا عَلَى حِدَتِهِ».
لا تنتبذوا في الدُّبَّاء ولا في المُزفَّت
عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لاَ تَنْتَبِذُوا فِي الدُّبَّاءِ، وَلاَ فِي المُزَفَّتِ» وَكَانَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يُلْحِقُ مَعَهَا: «الحَنْتَمَ وَالنَّقِيرَ».
الشاة خلقها الله، وأنزل لها من السماء الماء، وأنبت لها من الأرض، ثم تذبحونها على غير اسم الله
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَقِيَ زَيْدَ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ بِأَسْفَلِ بَلْدَحٍ، قَبْلَ أَنْ يَنْزِلَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الوَحْيُ، فَقُدِّمَتْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُفْرَةٌ، فَأَبَى أَنْ يَأْكُلَ مِنْهَا، ثُمَّ قَالَ زَيْدٌ: إِنِّي لَسْتُ آكُلُ مِمَّا تَذْبَحُونَ عَلَى أَنْصَابِكُمْ، وَلاَ آكُلُ إِلَّا مَا ذُكِرَ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ، وَأَنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو كَانَ يَعِيبُ عَلَى قُرَيْشٍ ذَبَائِحَهُمْ، وَيَقُولُ: الشَّاةُ خَلَقَهَا اللَّهُ، وَأَنْزَلَ لَهَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ المَاءَ، وَأَنْبَتَ لَهَا مِنَ الأَرْضِ، ثُمَّ تَذْبَحُونَهَا عَلَى غَيْرِ اسْمِ اللَّهِ، إِنْكَارًا لِذَلِكَ وَإِعْظَامًا لَهُ.
Whoever keeps a dog, except a dog for hunting or for guarding livestock, his deeds will be reduced by two Qirāts every day
Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever keeps a dog, except a dog for hunting or for guarding livestock, his deeds will be reduced by two Qirāts every day." Sālim said: Abu Hurayrah, who had a farm, used to say: "Or a farm dog."
Indeed, wine has been declared unlawful
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I was the people's cup-bearer in the house of Abu Talhah, and their wine at that time was Fadīkh. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) commanded a caller to call out: Indeed, wine has been declared unlawful. He said: So Abu Talhah said to me: Go out and spill it. I went out, and I spilled it, and it was flowing in the paths of Madīnah. Some of the people said: Some people had been killed when it was in their bellies. Thereupon, Allah revealed: {There is no blame on those who believe and do righteous deeds for what they consumed...} [Surat al-Mā’idah: 93].
