Conversion follows the Umm al-Qura calendar and covers 1356–1500 AH.
The Hijri calendar is a lunar calendar of twelve months, each 29 or 30 days long following the cycle of the moon, which makes the Hijri year about eleven days shorter than the Gregorian one. That is why Hijri dates move earlier through the Gregorian calendar every year.
Dates here are computed with the Umm al-Qura calendar, which is calculated rather than sighted, and may differ by a day from the announcement of the authority you follow — hence the Hijri shift above. The occasion texts are the same ones shown in the Azkar app.
