Terms of Service

Welcome to azkar.me - أذكاري. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the azkar.me website and web app, and of the أذكاري: أذكار وقرآن وصلاة (Azkar Muslim) app for Android and iOS by developer EslamFaisal, including Zakir subscriptions. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the service.

The service is intended for users aged 13 and over and does not require an account, except Zakir and its subscriptions, which require signing in.

You are responsible for using the service in compliance with applicable laws.

You agree not to:

• Misuse, disrupt, or attempt to compromise the service.
• Copy or resell content in a manner that violates rights.
• Use the service for unlawful or harmful purposes.
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data.

We rely on trusted sources such as Hisnul Muslim for Azkar content. We strive for accuracy, though variations between editions or wording may exist.

Content is provided for spiritual and informational purposes and does not replace qualified scholarly guidance.

The website interface, design, and software elements are owned by or licensed to azkar.me. You may not reuse or commercially reproduce them without permission.

azkar.me is free to use.

Zakir is the AI assistant inside the Azkar app. It is optional and requires signing in. All azkar, Qur'an, hadith, prayer-time and reminder features remain free for every user, whether or not you subscribe.

There is a free plan to try Zakir, and three monthly subscription plans: Mini, Medium and Open. The plans differ in the features they include:

Never behind a subscription: religious safety checks, companion support and its helplines, account deletion, data export, and reporting an answer. A feature included in your plan may be temporarily unavailable for operational or safety reasons.

Monthly allowance and fair use

• Every plan includes a monthly allowance for using Zakir, subject to fair use. Open is our largest allowance; it is not unlimited.
• The allowance renews every 30 days, and anything unused does not carry over. The app tells you when it renews.
• Some answers do not use your allowance, such as prayer times, the qibla and the Hijri date.
• The allowance is for your own account and personal use: no account sharing, no automated use, no reselling of answers.
• If use falls outside that, or the stability of the service is at risk, we may temporarily restrict access to Zakir; the rest of the app keeps working as before.
• We may offer, change or withdraw the free plan's trial allowance at any time, or limit it to some users.

Prices, payment and auto-renewal

• The price is the one shown in the App Store or Google Play in your local currency before you buy, and it may differ between countries.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically every month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• If a subscription price changes, we will notify you in advance before the change applies to your subscription, under the store's rules.

Cancellation and refunds

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in the store's subscription settings. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before renewal: App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). After cancellation, your plan's features stay available until the end of the current paid period. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription in the store.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies; we do not control refund decisions. If a purchase is refunded, only what that purchase granted ends.

Changing plans

• An upgrade to a higher plan applies immediately; the store accounts for the price difference or the unused time under its own rules.
• A downgrade applies under the store's rules: on the App Store at your next renewal, keeping your current plan until then; on Google Play it may apply immediately, with the remaining value credited as extra time.
• What you have already used in the current period still counts after you change plans.

Renewal pack (when offered)

Subscribers who have used up the current period's allowance before it renews may be offered a separate one-off purchase (a consumable in-app product). Its price is the price shown in your store, and the following terms apply:

• It grants a fresh allowance equal to one period of your current plan.
• It is valid for 30 days from the moment the allowance is added to your account — the moment of purchase in the normal case; anything unused at the end expires.
• It does not change or extend your subscription billing date, and it does not auto-renew.
• You can hold at most 3 unspent packs at the same time.
• Any unused allowance from a pack is forfeited if your account is deleted, is not refunded in cash, and cannot be transferred to another account.
• Refunds for the pack are handled by the app store under its own policy. If a purchase is refunded, we withdraw only the part of it you have not used.
• We may stop offering the pack or change its terms at any time.

Zakir does not issue fatwas

Zakir provides information with its sources cited so you can read them yourself. Zakir is a computer program, not a sheikh and not a mufti; it does not issue a fatwa or a religious ruling, and its answers may contain mistakes. Refer to the cited sources, and for a ruling on your own case ask a scholar you trust. Subscribing to any plan is not the purchase of a fatwa or of religious counsel.

Availability and changes

• Zakir may be available only to some users or in some countries, or through a waiting list, and subscribing may not be possible until your access is open.
• We may change the features or the allowances included in each plan. Any change will be published on this page with a new "Last Updated" date, and we will notify you in the app before a change that reduces what your plan includes takes effect.
• If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

In-app donations are entirely separate from Zakir subscriptions and from the renewal pack, and they do not grant any additional Zakir allowance or other paid feature. What we process for Zakir and for subscriptions is set out in the Privacy Policy.

We may display ads or measure usage through third-party providers only after you grant consent via the cookie preferences panel. You can update your choices at any time.

The site may include links to external services (such as app stores). We are not responsible for their content or policies.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, azkar.me is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

We may update the service or these Terms from time to time. We will post updates here and revise the "Last Updated" date.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict access if these Terms are violated.

These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the relevant jurisdiction.
