Allah admits to Paradise any Muslim whose goodness is testified to by four people
Abu al-Aswad reported: I came to Madīnah and sat with ‘Umar ibn al-Khattāb (may Allah be pleased with him). A funeral passed by and the deceased was lauded. ‘Umar said: 'Guaranteed.' Then another funeral passed by and the deceased was lauded, whereupon ‘Umar again said: 'Guaranteed.' Then a third funeral passed by and the deceased was dispraised, whereupon ‘Umar said: 'Guaranteed.' I asked: "O Leader of the Believers, what is guaranteed?" He said: "I said what the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Allah admits to Paradise any Muslim whose goodness is testified to by four people.' We said: 'What about three people?' He replied in the affirmative. We said: 'What about two?' He replied in the affirmative. Then we did not ask him about one person.
‘Abdullāh ibn Abi Awfa, while offering the funeral prayer for one of his daughters, recited four Takbīrs, and after the fourth Takbīr, he continued standing for a time equal to an interval between two Takbīrs, praying for her and seeking Allah's forgiveness for her." Then, he said: "The Messenger of Allah used to do so

Then, he said: "The Messenger of Allah used to do so." In another narration: He recited four Takbīrs and remained standing in prayer for some time till we thought that he would recite the fifth Takbīr. Then, he made Taslīm to the right and to the left. When he turned aside, we asked him about it. He replied: "I would add nothing to what I saw the Messenger of Allah doing." Or he said: "The Messenger of Allah used to do so."
I commanded you to burn so-and-so and so-and-so, but no one punishes with fire except Allah. So if you find them, kill them
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) sent us out on an expedition and said: "If you find so-and-so and so-and-so", referring to two men from Quraysh whom he named, "then burn them with fire." Then, when we were set to go out, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I commanded you to burn so-and-so and so-and-so, but no one punishes with fire except Allah. So if you find them, kill them."
No one should punish with fire except the Lord of fire
Ibn Mas‘ūd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: We were on a journey with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) when he went to relieve himself. We then saw a Hummarah (a type of bird) with its two chicks. We took its chicks, and the bird came back and began to flap its wings. Upon seeing it, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) came and said: "Who has distressed it by taking its baby? Return its baby." He then saw an ant colony that we had burned, and he said: "Who burned this?" We said: We did. He said: "No one should punish with fire except the Lord of fire."
The sanctity of the wives of the Mujāhids for those who stay behind is like the sanctity of their own mothers
Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The sanctity of the wives of the Mujāhids for those who stay behind is like the sanctity of their own mothers. Any man, of those who stay behind, who looks after the family of a Mujāhid and betrays his trust will be made to stand on the Day of Judgment before the Mujāhid who will take away from his good deeds as much as he likes until he is satisfied." Then, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) turned to us and asked: "So what do you think (will he leave anything)?”
No one dies and they stand over him crying and saying, 'O what a great man he was! O how respectful he was,' except that two angels are appointed for him to poke him, saying: Were you like that?
Abu Mūsa (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No one dies and they stand over him crying and saying, 'O what a great man he was! O how respectful he was,' except that two angels are appointed for him to poke him, saying: 'Were you like that?'"
Among the matters in respect of which we gave the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) the pledge not to disobey him in any goodness was that we should not scratch our faces, bewail, tear our clothes up, or dishevel our hair (in grief)
Usayd ibn Abu Usayd At-Tābi'i reported that one of the women who gave the pledge to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among the matters in respect of which we gave the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) the pledge not to disobey him in any goodness was that we should not scratch our faces, bewail, tear our clothes up, or dishevel our hair (in grief)."
These mosques are not appropriate for anything of this kind of urine or filth. They are only for the remembrance of Allah Almighty, prayer, and recitation of the Qur’an
Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: While we were in the mosque with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him), a Bedouin came and began to urinate in the mosque. The Companions of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: Stop! Stop! He said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not interrupt him; let him." So they left him until he finished urinating. Then the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) called him and said to him: "These mosques are not appropriate for anything of this kind of urine or filth. They are only for the remembrance of Allah Almighty, prayer, and recitation of the Qur’an" or as the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said. He said: Then he ordered a man from among the people who brought a bucket of water and poured it over the affected area.
A man announced (the loss of his camel) in the mosque, saying out loud: Has any one seen the red camel? Upon this the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: May you not find it! The mosques are only built for the purpose they are built
Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a man announced (the loss of his camel) in the mosque, saying out loud: "Has any one seen the red camel?" Among the Jews, whenever a woman had her menstruation, they would neither eat with her nor associate with her in their houses
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: Among the Jews, whenever a woman had her menstruation, they would neither eat with her nor associate with her in their houses. So the Companions of the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) asked him (about this) and Allah, the Almighty, revealed: {And they ask you about menstruation. Say, "It is harm, so keep away from wives during menstruation} [Sūrat al-Baqarah: 222]. So the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do everything except sexual intercourse." When the Jews heard of that, they said: "This man does not want to leave anything we do without opposing us in it." Usayd ibn Hudayr and ‘Abbād ibn Bishr came and said: "O Messenger of Allah, the Jews say such-and-such, should we not have intercourse with them (our wives)?" The face of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) underwent such a change that we thought he was angry with them, so they went out. They were met by a gift of milk which was being brought to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) so he sent after them and made them drink thereof, whereby they knew that he was not angry with them.
O Messenger of Allah, I am a woman who experiences a heavy prolonged flow of menstrual blood, so what do you think about it? It has prevented me from praying and fasting. He said: I suggest that you use cotton, for it eliminates (the traces of) blood. She replied: It is too copious for that
Hamnah bint Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: I used to experience a heavy prolonged flow of menstrual blood. So I came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) seeking a religious verdict and in order to tell him. I found him in the house of my sister, Zaynab bint Jahsh. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, I am a woman who experiences a heavy prolonged flow of menstrual blood, so what do you think about it? It has prevented me from praying and fasting." He said: "I suggest that you use cotton, for it eliminates (the traces of) blood." She replied: "It is too copious for that." He said: "Then you can use a cloth." She replied: "It is too copious for that, for my blood keeps pouring heavily." The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I shall give you two commands; whichever of them you follow will be sufficient for you without the other, but you know best if you are strong enough to follow both of them." He added: "This is only a strike of the devil, so observe your menses for six or seven days, according to Allah's knowledge; then have a ritual bath. When you see that you are pure and clean, pray during twenty-three or twenty-four days and nights and fast, for that will be enough for you (for freeing your liability), and do so every month, just as women menstruate and are purified at the time of their menstruation and their purification. If you are able to delay the Zhuhr prayer and perform the ‘Asr prayer promptly, until you have a ritual bath, and then combine the two prayers and to delay the Maghrib prayer and perform the ‘Ishā' prayer, until you have a ritual bath, and then combine the two prayers, then do so: and to take a ritual bath at the Fajr prayer too, do so: and observe fast if you are able to." The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Out of the two commands, the latter is more preferable to me."
Glory be to Allah, this comes from the devil. Let her sit in a washtub, and if she sees yellowness on top of the water, she has to take a bath once for the Zhuhr and ‘Asr prayers and another bath for the Maghrib and ‘Ishā' prayers and a third bath for the Fajr prayer, and she may perform ablution in between that (if she needs to)
Asmā' bint ‘Umays (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, Fātimah bint Abi Hubaysh has been having Istihādah since such-and-such and has not been praying since then." The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Glory be to Allah, this comes from the devil. Let her sit in a washtub, and if she sees yellowness on top of the water, she has to take a bath once for the Zhuhr and ‘Asr prayers and another bath for the Maghrib and ‘Ishā' prayers and a third bath for the Fajr prayer, and she may perform ablution in between that (if she needs to).'"
I have been granted victory by means of awe (cast in the hearts of the enemies), I have been given the keys of the earth, I have been named Ahmad, the earth was made for me a means of purification, and my nation has been made the best of nations
‘Ali ibn Abi Tālib (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been given what no other prophet was given." We said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is it?" He said: "I have been granted victory by means of awe (cast into the hearts of the enemies), I have been given the keys of the earth, I have been named Ahmad, the earth was made for me a means of purification, and my nation has been made the best of nations."
We have been preferred over others by three (privileges): Our rows are like the rows of the angels, the whole earth is for us a place to pray and its dust is for us a means to purify ourselves with if we do not find water
Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: ''We have been preferred over others with three (privileges): Our rows are like the rows of the angels, the whole earth is for us a place to pray and its dust is for us a means to purify ourselves with if we do not find water.'' I poured water for the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) to take a ritual bath

Then he would take water with his fingers and run them through his hair. When making sure that his hair was thoroughly wet, he would pour three handfuls of water over his head. Then he would pour water over the rest of his body. Then he would wash his feet.

Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Umm Sulaym said that she asked the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) about a woman who sees in a dream what a man sees (a wet dream). The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "If the woman sees that, she must take a ritual bath." Umm Sulaym said: "I was bashful on account of that and said: 'Does that happen?'" Upon this, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes (it does happen), otherwise where does resemblance come from? Man's discharge (i. e. semen) is thick and white, and the discharge (vaginal fluid) of a woman is thin and yellow, and the resemblance (of the child) comes from the one that dominates or precedes."

Time has completed its cycle and has returned to its state when Allah created the heavens and the earth. A year consists of twelve months, of which four are sacred; three of them are consecutive: Dhu al-Qi‘dah, Dhu al-Hijjah, Muharram, and Rajab of Mudar
Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Time has completed its cycle and has returned to its state when Allah created the heavens and the earth. Which month is this?" We said: "Allah and His Messenger know best." He remained silent for some time until we thought he was going to name it by something other than its current name. He then said: "Is this not the month of Dhu al-Hijjah?" We said: "Indeed, it is." He then said: "Which city is this?" To which we said: "Allah and His Messenger know best." We said: "Indeed, it is." Thereupon he said: "Indeed, your blood, your property and your honor are inviolable to one another just as the inviolability of this day of yours, in this city of yours, in this month of yours. And you will soon meet your Lord, and He will ask you about your deeds. So, do not return to disbelief after my death, striking each other's necks. Let those who are present here convey my statements to those who are not present, for perhaps someone to whom my words are conveyed will understand them better than someone who listened to them." Then he said: "Behold! Have I delivered (the message) to you? Behold! Have I delivered (the message) to you?" We answered saying: "Indeed, you have." He said: "O Allah, bear witness to this!"

She said that when it was my turn and the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was to spend the night with me, he turned, took off his mantle and his shoes and placed them near his feet. Then, he spread the end of his lower garment on his bed and lay down until he thought that I had gone to sleep. He took hold of his mantle slowly and put on his shoes slowly, and opened the door and went out and then closed it gently. I put on my head cover and my veil and tightened my lower garment, and then went out following his steps until he reached Al-Baqī‘. He stood there for a long time. He then lifted his hands three times, and then returned and I also returned. He hastened his steps and I also hastened my steps. He ran and I ran too. He came (to the house) and I also came (to the house). I, however, preceded him and I entered (the house), and as I lay down in bed, he entered and said: "Why is it, O ‘Ā'ish, that you are out of breath?" I said: 'Nothing.' He said: "Tell me or the Subtle and the Aware will inform me." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you." Then I told him everything. He said: "So, you were the darkness that I saw in front of me?" I said: 'Yes.' He struck me on the chest and it was painful, and then said: "Did you think that Allah and His Messenger would be unfair to you?" I said: "Whatever people conceal, Allah knows it. Yes." He said: "Jibrīl came to me when you saw me. He called me and he concealed it from you. I responded to his call, but I too concealed it from you, as he would never enter upon you while you are undressed. I thought that you had gone to sleep, and I did not like to awaken you, fearing that you might be afraid of being left alone. Jibrīl said to me: 'Your Lord commands you to go to the inhabitants of Al-Baqī‘ and seek forgiveness for them."' I said: "O Messenger of Allah, what should I say to them?" He said: "Say: Peace be upon the inhabitants of this place among the believers and Muslims. May Allah have mercy upon those who have gone on ahead of us and those who come later on, and we will join you, if Allah wills."
When the edge of the sun rises, avoid prayer until it becomes prominent; and if the edge of the sun disappears, avoid prayer until it sets. And do not offer your prayer at the time of sunrise or sunset, for it rises between two horns of a devil – or the devil
Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the edge of the sun rises, avoid prayer until it becomes prominent; and if the edge of the sun disappears, avoid prayer until it sets. Abu Hurayrah went on narrating: "So I brought some stones, carrying them in the corner of my garment, until I put them by his side and went away." When he finished, I walked (with him) and asked: "What is wrong with bones and animal dung?" He said: "They are from the food of the Jinn. A delegation of Jinn from (the city of) Nasībayn came to me —and how good those Jinn were — and asked me for victuals. I invoked Allah for them that they would never pass by a bone or animal dung but that they would find food on them."
The time for the Zhuhr prayer starts when the sun has passed its zenith and a man's shadow is equal in length to his height, until the time for the ‘Asr prayer comes. The time for the Fajr prayer lasts from the break of dawn so long as the sun has not risen. When the sun rises, stop praying, for it rises between two horns of a devil."

There are two 'Fajrs'. As for the 'Fajr' that resembles the tale of a wolf, it is not a sign that prayer has become due or food has become forbidden to consume. And as for the 'Fajr' that takes a rectangular shape in the horizon, it is a sign that prayer has become due and food forbidden to consume
Jābir ibn ‘Abdullāh (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are two 'Fajrs'. As for the 'Fajr' that resembles the tale of a wolf, it is not a sign that prayer has become due or food has become forbidden to consume. ‘Abdullāh ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: When the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that a bell be rung to gather the people for prayer, I saw a dream where a man was going around carrying a bell. I said to him: "O slave of Allah, are you selling this bell?" He said: "What will you do with it?" I said: "We will call the people to prayer." He said: "Shall I direct you to what is better than it?" I replied: ‘Yes.’ He said: "Say: 'Allah is the Greatest (four times); I bear witness that there is no god but Allah (twice); I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah (twice); come to prayer (twice); come to success (twice); Allah is the Greatest (twice); there is no god but Allah.'" Then he stood close behind me and said: "Then, when the prayer is about to begin, say: 'Allah is the Greatest (twice); I bear witness that there is no god but Allah; I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; come to prayer; come to success; the prayer is about to commence (twice) [In another narration: “And if it is the Fajr prayer, say: ‘prayer is better than sleep (twice).’”]; Allah is the Greatest (twice); there is no god but Allah.'" When I woke up, I went to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and informed him of my dream. He said: ‘Indeed, it is a true dream, Allah Willing! Go and teach these words to Bilāl, and let him make the call to prayer with them, as his voice is more melodious than yours.’ So I took Bilāl and taught him those words, and he made the call to prayer therewith. ‘Umar ibn al-Khattāb heard it while at home, and so he came out dragging his garment and saying: "By the One Who sent you with the truth, O Messenger of Allah, I saw the same dream that he saw!" Thereupon, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "All praise is due to Allah."
