عن أنس بن مالك قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لا يغدو يوم الفطر حتى يأكل تمرات. وفي رواية: ويأكلهن وترًا.

Explanation
أخبر أنس بن مالك أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لا يخرج من بيته للصلاة يوم عيد الفطر إلا بعد أن يأكل تمرات، لأن الصوم إمساك عن الطعام والشراب ونحوهما، وقد اكتملت عدة شهر الصوم، وصيام يوم العيد محرم، فهذه المبادرة لإعلان الفرق بينهما. وخص التمر، لأنه أنفع للبطن الخاوي، وأسرع هضمًا،فإلم يفعل ذلك قبل خروجه استحب له فعله في طريقه، أو في المصلى إن أمكنه، ويكره له تركه، وفي رواية أخرى: ويأكل التمرات وترًا، ثلاثًا أو خمسًا أو سبعًا فصاعدًا.
