Daily quiz

How the daily quiz works

One question a day, with four options. Answers are graded on the server rather than in your browser, the explanation and its source are published once the question closes, and your record is the same on the app and on the web.

1. 1A new question is published every morning and stays open until it closes.
2. 2You pick one option — one attempt per day, and re-submitting never changes your points.
3. 3Points scale with the question's difficulty and with consecutive days answered correctly.
4. 4Your points add up to a rank, and appear on the quiz leaderboard.

Ranks and their points

A rank is derived from your total points alone, and is identical in the app and on the website.

• Beginner0 – 99
• Student of knowledge100 – 349
• Steadfast350 – 799
• Diligent800 – 1,999
• Proficient2,000 – 4,999
• Scholar5,000+
