عن علي قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول: «خيرُ نسائها مريمُ بنتُ عمران، وخيرُ نسائها خديجةُ بنتُ خويلد»، وأشار وكيع إلى السماء والأرض.

Explanation
خير نساء الدنيا في زمانها مريم بنت عمران عليها السلام، أم نبي الله عيسى عليه السلام، وخير نساء الدنيا من هذه الأمة أم المؤمنين خديجة بنت خويلد رضي الله عنها، وأشار وكيع أحد رواة الحديث للسماء والأرض لتفسير كلمة (نسائها)، وأن المراد به جميع نساء، والأظهر أن معناه: أن كل واحدة منهما خير نساء في عصرها، وأما التفضيل بينهما فمسكوت عنه.
