Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith, and do not put in our hearts any resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful. This is the supplication of those who came after the earlier believers, asking for forgiveness for themselves and their predecessors, and for a heart free of ill will toward fellow believers.
