The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was the most generous of people, and he used to be more generous than ever in Ramadan when Gabriel (Jibrīl) would meet him
Ibn ‘Abbās (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was the most generous of people, and he used to be more generous than ever in Ramadan when Gabriel (Jibrīl) would meet him. He used to meet him every night during Ramadan to revise the Qur'an with him. Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was more generous than the fast wind.
كان يعرض على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم القرآن كل عام مرة
عن أبي هريرة، قال: كان يعرض على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم القرآن كل عام مرة، فعرض عليه مرتين في العام الذي قبض فيه، وكان يعتكف كل عام عشرا، فاعتكف عشرين في العام الذي قبض فيه.
شهران لا ينقصان، شهرا عيد: رمضان وذو الحجة
عن أبي بكرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "شهران لا ينقصان، شهرا عيد: رمضان، وذو الحجة".
من قام رمضان إيمانًا واحتسابًا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه
عن أبي هريرة أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «من قام رمضان إيمانًا واحتسابًا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه».
