If the strap of the sandal of one of you breaks, let him not walk in the other sandal until he fixes it

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) say: "If the strap of the sandal of one of you breaks, let him not walk in the other sandal until he fixes it."

Explanation

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the Muslim from walking with only one shoe on if the strap of his other shoe were to break. Instead, he should fix the broken strap, or take both shoes off and walk barefoot.
