عن طلحة بن عبد الله بن عوف أنه قال: صليت خلف ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما على جنازة فقرأ بفاتحة الكتاب قال: ليعلموا أنها سنة.

Explanation
طلحة بن عبد الله بن عوف الزهري تابعي جليل، عمه عبد الرحمن بن عوف رضي الله عنه، صلى مرةً خلف ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما على جنازة، فقرأ ابن عباس بسورة الفاتحة، وأسمعهم قراءته أو بعض آياته، وعلل فعله ذلك بأن يتعلم الناس ويعلموا أن قراءة الفاتحة في صلاة الجنازة سنة أي طريقة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فلا ينافي كونها واجبة، وقول الصحابي من السنة كذا هو من المرفوع للنبي حكمًا، وليس في الحديث بيان محل القراءة، وقد وقع التصريح به في حديثٍ آخر أنه في الركعة الأولى من صلاة الجنازة.
