عن ابن عمر أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كان إذا جلس في الصلاة وضع يديه على ركبتيه، ورفع إصبعه اليمنى التي تلي الإبهام، فدعا بها ويده اليسرى على ركبته باسطها عليها.

Explanation
عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كان إذا جلس في الصلاة أي للتشهد وضع يديه على ركبتيه ورفع إصبعه اليمنى التي تلي الإبهام، وهي السبابة، وتسمى المسبحة أيضًا، وظاهره أن رفع الإصبع كان من ابتداء الجلوس إلى انتهائه، فدعا بها أي تشهد، وسمي التشهد دعاء؛ لاشتماله عليه، ويده اليسرى أي ووضع يده اليسرى على ركبته اليسرى باسطها عليها، من غير رفع إصبعه.

- بيان كيفية وضع اليدين في حال الجلوس في الصلاة، فأما اليمنى فالمستحب فيها الإشارة بالسبابة، وأما اليسرى فالمستحب فيها الوضع.
- استحباب الإشارة بالمسبحة وتوجيهها إلى القبلة.
