Dua Closing Eyes Deceased

From Funeral & Condolence Azkar — Hisnul Muslim

Among the funeral and condolence azkar is the supplication said while closing the eyes of someone who has just passed away, the same dua the Prophet ﷺ made when the eyes of Abu Salamah were closed. The deceased's name is mentioned in place of the pronoun.

2 of 7

Allahummagh-fir lah, warfa' darajatahu fil-mahdiyyeen, wakhlufhu fi 'aqibihi fil-ghabireen, waghfir lana wa lahu ya rabbal-'alameen, wafsah lahu fi qabrih, wa nawwir lahu feeh.
