From Sleep Azkar — Hisnul Muslim
Among the sleep azkar, this supplication acknowledges that the soul belongs entirely to Allah — He created it, gives it life, and takes it back. Before sleeping, the believer asks for protection if he is kept alive, forgiveness if he dies in his sleep, and closes by asking for well-being.
اللّهُـمَّ إِنَّـكَ خَلَـقْتَ نَفْسـي وَأَنْـتَ تَوَفّـاهـا لَكَ ممَـاتـها وَمَحْـياها ، إِنْ أَحْيَيْـتَها فاحْفَظْـها ، وَإِنْ أَمَتَّـها فَاغْفِـرْ لَـها . اللّهُـمَّ إِنَّـي أَسْـأَلُـكَ العـافِـيَة.
Al-llhuـmma 'iinnaـka khalaـqta nafsـy wa'anـta tawaffـahـa laka mmaـatـha wamahـyaha ، inna 'ahyayـtaha fahfadhـha ، wa'iin 'amattaـha faaghfiـr laـha . Al-llhuـmma 'iinnaـy 'asـ'aluـka al-'ـafiـyat.
