Verily, Allah is pleased with three things for you and is displeased with three things for you

Explanation

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) informed that Allah loves three qualities from His slaves and dislikes three. He loves from them the following: To worship Him alone and not to associate anything with Him, to hold fast to the covenant of Allah, the Qur’an, and the Sunnah of His Prophet, all together, and not to be separated from the Muslim community. He dislikes for them: idle talk and excessive speech about matters that do not concern them, asking about things that have not occurred, or asking people for their money and possessions without necessity, wasting money, spending it in ways other than its lawful uses, and putting it at risk of being lost.

Lessons

• Allah Almighty loves sincerity in worship from His slaves and dislikes disbelief in Him.
• Encouraging adherence to and holding fast to the rope of Allah Almighty, as it leads to unity and harmony.
• Encouraging the community, commanding adherence to it, unifying its ranks, and prohibiting its opposite, which is division and discord.
• The prohibition of excessive talking about useless matters; because if it is permissible, it leads to the waste of time, and if it is forbidden, it increases sins.
• The prohibition of engaging in gossip about people, tracking their conditions, and recounting their words and actions.
• The prohibition of excessive asking for people's money.
• The prohibition of wasting money, and the encouragement to preserve it for what is beneficial.
