Islam is built on five
Abu ‘Abdur-Rahmān ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar ibn al-Khattāb (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "Islam is built on five: testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger, establishing prayer, giving Zakah, performing Hajj to the (Sacred) House, and fasting Ramadān."

‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Islam is built on five: testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger, establishing prayer, giving Zakah, performing Hajj to the (Sacred) House, and fasting Ramadān."
Lo! Soon a Hadīth from me will be conveyed to a man, while he is reclining on his couch, and he says: ‘Between us and you is Allah’s Book
Al-Miqdām ibn Ma‘dikarib (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Lo! Soon a Hadīth from me will be conveyed to a man, while he is reclining on his couch, and he says: ‘Between us and you is Allah’s Book. So, whatever we find in it that is lawful, we consider lawful, and whatever we find in it that is unlawful, we consider unlawful.’ Indeed, whatever the Messenger of Allah made unlawful, it is the same as what Allah made unlawful."
Once, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) stood at the top of one of the forts of Madīnah looking down and said: Do you see what I see? Verily, I see the trials that occur in the midst of your houses as plenty as the raindrops that fall (during heavy rain)
Usāmah ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: Once, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) stood at the top of one of Madīnah's forts looking down and said: "Do you see what I see? Verily, I see the trials that occur in the midst of your houses as plenty as the raindrops that fall (during heavy rain)."
I saw in my dream that I was using a tooth-stick when two men came to me, one of them older than the other. I gave the tooth-stick to the younger one, but I was told to give it to the older one first, so I did
‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I saw in my dream that I was using a tooth-stick when two men came to me, one of them older than the other. I gave the tooth-stick to the younger one, but I was told to give it to the older one first, so I did."
إن يكن الذي ترى فلن تستطيع قتله
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بنِ مَسْعُودِ قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَمَرَرْنَا بِصِبْيَانٍ فِيهِمُ ابْنُ صَيَّادٍ، فَفَرَّ الصِّبْيَانُ وَجَلَسَ ابْنُ صَيَّادٍ، فَكَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَرِهَ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «تَرِبَتْ يَدَاكَ، أَتَشْهَدُ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللهِ؟» فَقَالَ: لَا، بَلْ تَشْهَدُ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللهِ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ: ذَرْنِي، يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ حَتَّى أَقْتُلَهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنْ يَكُنِ الَّذِي تَرَى فَلَنْ تَسْتَطِيعَ قَتْلَهُ».
أنا أول شفيع في الجنة
عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قال: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَنَا أَوَّلُ شَفِيعٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، لَمْ يُصَدَّقْ نَبِيٌّ مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ مَا صُدِّقْتُ، وَإِنَّ مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ نَبِيًّا مَا يُصَدِّقُهُ مِنْ أُمَّتِهِ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ وَاحِدٌ».
ما بال أقوام يتنزَّهون عن الشيء أصنعه
عن عائشة قالت: صنع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم شيئًا فرخَّص فيه، فتنزه عنه قوم، فبلغ ذلك النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فخطب فحمد الله ثم قال: «ما بال أقوام يتنزَّهون عن الشيء أصنعه، فوالله إني لأعلمهم بالله، وأشدهم له خشية».
اشتد غضب الله على قوم فعلوا بنبيه
عَن أَبي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اشْتَدَّ غَضَبُ اللَّهِ عَلَى قَوْمٍ فَعَلُوا بِنَبِيِّهِ -يُشِيرُ إِلَى رَبَاعِيَتِهِ-، اشْتَدَّ غَضَبُ اللَّهِ عَلَى رَجُلٍ يَقْتُلُهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ».
